The third time is a charm

I tried to write a post earlier and failed twice. We shall see if this one works. For some reason, WP seems more temperamental some days than others, or is it the “security” software on my computer. Computing ain’t what it used to be.

Medical stuff has swamped me the past few days, and now I am back and have results from tests which show I am low on sodium. Heck, most folks have sodium issues but I don’t.  The doc says I should drink less fluid (12 oz) each day as it washes the sodium away. Can’t I just eat potato chips? I respond. No that doesn’t work. Bummer.

This won’t be a long post as I am due to take my much-needed nap. Yes, I began taking naps with my little dog Johnny, who loves his visit to my bedroom.

Now, lets see if I can get David to leave his tennis match. He needs a nap too, and that armchair isn’t good enough.

  1. Watch those electrolytes. My mom started falling and spiraling rapidly into what appeared to be dementia. Dangerously low sodium required weeklong hospitalization.

  2. I too have low sodium. Low potassium too. I’ve actually been hospitalized twice for the problem. Got pumped up with intravenous fluids. My doctor says I can eat more salt.

  3. That’s too bad about the salt. Wouldn’t we all love to eat potato chips to build up our sodium levels? Enjoy your nap, I feel like one too right now. Thanks for the info on the little chipmunks I have been seeing on our road trip. Have a great weekend 🙂
